Thin sheets made of rice flour. Used as a crust for Vietnamese egg roll - fresh (uncooked) or fried. To use them, soak the rice sheets in warm water for a very short time, remove from the water, place on a clean, damp kitchen towel and roll. They can be filled and eaten without cooking and can also be rolled into the shape of a cigar, filled with different fillings and deep fried to get a fried Vietnamese egg roll.
